Accepting Cases Nationwide
About Us
The Law Office of David Liebrader represents victims of investment fraud throughout the United States. Over the past 23 years we have been fighting for the rights of victimized investors to get their day in court, and recover money wrongfully taken from them.
Our attorneys are licensed to practice law in Nevada and California, and can appear in all the courts in those two states. In addition, as a result of being licensed in Nevada and California, our attorneys can represent investors in FINRA arbitrations in any state in the country. Pursuant to the provisions of the Federal Arbitration Act, which governs the relationship between all registered brokerage firms and their customers, we can, and have appeared on behalf of clients in 45 of the 50 states.
This nationwide practice has allowed us to form bonds with local attorneys and experts, who are ready to provide information on local arbitrators, jurors or judges. Despite subtle differences, most states have adopted some form of the Uniform Securities Act which provides a framework for registration of securities, licensing of representatives, and remedies for victims of investment fraud. State Securities Act claims form the basis for most of the cases we see, as the Act provides remedies for misrepresentations and omissions made in the sale of securities, a common claim. Other claims typically advanced for investors are for breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, suitability violations, sales of unregistered securities, churning and fraud.
We offer investors competitive fee arrangements, either hourly or contingency, and also provide flexible rates depending upon at what point the case resolves; within six months of filing, prior to trial or arbitration, or after the hearing or trial on the merits. We always provide a free, confidential consultation, and strive to provide the client with as much information as possible to allow him or her to make an informed decision about proceeding with a claim.
- In addition to representing victims of investment fraud we also have represented clients in the following types of claims:
- Shareholders having disputes with corporations;
- Whistleblowers with claims before the SEC;
- Creditors seeking to enforce judgments against debtors in bankruptcy court (adversary proceedings);
- Victims of Ponzi schemes;
- Denial of coverage claims against insurance companies;
- Legal malpractice claims against attorneys;
- Malpractice claims against real estate agents;
- Complex judgment collection strategies;
- Promissory note collections;
- Business against business disputes
